Bringing my Mum down for Sunday lunch in the Camaro if she's well enough (er, that's bringing her down in the Camaro, not eating sunday lunch in the Camaro...).  Meant to happen today but she's not too well, so hopefully tomorrow.

She likes the car lots and hasn't had chance for a proper run out in it yet...

That Northampton show sounds really good. If my Mum's not well enough to travel, I'll try and persuade the OH it might be nice to take a trip up there. Not that far from Hanslope. Especially with the admission being so cheap.

At the end of the lesson ( round the field, parallel parking and reversing etc      ) Junior F Body Kid scored 32/40 & Senior F Body Kid 38/40







Loads of vehicles, didn't see Motorama

I took a picture of this 1978 Garelli 50cc moped because my Mate Bob had one, it had very poor brakes, crap suspension, dodgy electrics but everyone wanted one
Imagine 16 year olds in open face helmets doing 62mph on one of those

Had a great time in mine. Tootled up to Rugby, picked up me Mum, brought her back in it, then took her home later. Had a big grin on my face there and back (twice). Driving that car with the tops off in the sunshine has to be one of the greatest things to do on a Sunday afternoon (I DID say ONE of...).
