The General has spoken so here are the figures for the new CTS-V

556 HP at 6,100 RPM and 551 lb-ft of torque at 3,800 RPM. With those bitchin' numbers, the CTS-V will be doing 0-60 MPH in a lightning fast 3.9 seconds with a standing quarter mile coming in at 12 seconds flat.
Sure, but how fast will she go? What about 175 MPH with the six-speed auto and 191 MPH with the manual transmission

Ain't a bad looker either, should smoke a few M5 owners

They might not...

The previous version (400BHP) got a fairly good review as they showed it could handle as it was also tuned at the Nurburgring.  The only downside was the constant bonging warnings (which isn't as bad as they made out, 2 of the things it bonged for where actually the same thing), Clarkson said it felt low rent although admitted he couldn't put his finger on exactly what was cheap, and you could get thew same platform based Monaro for less money.

This one has an excellent interior and more power than the Monaro thingy so it should get a good review.  But of course it is American, it is Cadillac and thus they will have to make up something wrong with it to protect the false opinion that the Germans make the best saloons...
