Had a run over to Billing this morning, I stand corrected the ground was generally very dry
By lunchtime the show field was full, plenty of nice motors, the grey H reg 3rd Gen ( very similar to HRC's ) looked quite nice
Also had a hankering after a 72 ish 2nd Gen Z28, red with black stripes
Had a few beers and lunch in the Billing Mill again

I ended up going to an "open gardens" event in our village with my OH as we were unsure how the weather was going to be

On the basis that NEXT weekend we can go to the AAC event up in Stratford on Avon (so I hope its good photography weather next weekend).

We got there about 12ish and left just before 4

Weather was excellent and there was a very good mix of cars and the show field was full

Bits of the ground were still very soft, but most of it was ok

Ian & Ryan took pics, so will be posted up at some point

was a really nice day out, good weather and plenty of good cars there as well...

ground was OK overall - some areas a bit soft and chewed but otherwise good day

will upload my pics either tonight (if i get chance) or tomorrow evening

Had a good Show with the Dynoflow Trade stand & also did the Loud exhaust Comp Again (124.6DB won that one...hearing just starting to recover...lol)

Good to catch up with a few of ya.

Next weekend its the Newark Kit Car Show for me.

(PS Dovecote Meet is still going but Im not so involved as I used to be (now Im working for a living..lol))

went over sat nite and had a few beers with some of the regulars,
stayed in a mates static over nite and hung around in the warm sun until lunch time,
some ace cars about dispite the petrol shortage and credit crunch,
could not belive the lack of traders for the summer nats.... and the latest events of the ever changing aaci.....
all in all a great nite out with some old buddies and a few cans of stella....
and i saw that[stranger] fin bloke....
