there is a small ammount of rust (not much though) on the screen surround of my van, as my screen has decided to crack (not from rust) roughly how much do you think its likely to cost to remove the screen, make  the surround solid (proly 2 or 3 repair sections abouit 2" long each) DA the roof, (if any of the rust patches are into holes just fibreglass them once the rust has been ground out) paint the roof satin black, and have a new screen in?

i'll try and get some photos of the roof..

it doesn't need to be a perfect job, just make it solid, so the new screen will seal properly. and so the roof is all black.

the rust on the roof is about 9 or 10 patches, about the size of a 50p piece each. a couple have gone through,but i ground them, kurusted the metal, and glassed over the hole with isopon P40 - this method is fine for all of them, as the roof isn't visible..

any idea on cost? i'll try and grab some photos..
