Didn't your brand-spanking-new all-powerful Mac crash the first time you switched it on ?

Yeah I never used the second button on my Might Mouse though, there is no need for it.  But the scroll ball is the worst idea ever, it's so tiny that a little bit of dirt makes it stop working.

I now have the MX Revolution as well, PC World finally got stock...
Takes some getting used to but I suppose I'll get used to it but frankly it has way too many buttons.  I've turned most of them off...

EDGE

i use all the buttons on my MX, for cad work it's excellent... i use the thumb wheel for copy, cut, paste and the middle button under the main wheel for zoom.  It save me a lot of time, I could use keybard shortcuts but im often following the paper version with a pencil in the other hand.

Also autocad uses right-click a LOT so the mighty mouse, although able, was shite!

Its far more accurate on the windows side than the mighty mouse too, and yeah, that ball SUCKS BALLS!!!

Logitech have made a good mouse here, expensive at £60 odd but its bluetooth, comes with a charging station etc, fine with me...

but its bluetooth

No it's not.

It's wireless, and it uses the 2.4GHz frequency just like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, so it's just interference for them really, hehe!

FUBAR

Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard and Logitech G5  Gaming Mouse (WIRED I hate wireless mice) for me

Although I have the Logitech I have always liked Microsoft mice.
It's the *only* thing Microsoft do that is any good.

They should stop selling c*** software and just make mice imho...

55starchief

the coolest thing microsoft did was add the odometer so you could see how many miles your mouse had rolled oh and the screen wrap that i loved but not many other people could understand or see the point of

Incursus

Always found microsoft mice a bit flimsy feeling...

Hmm old ones yeah but the new optical mice (and indeed the trackball i use) are not that bad - last quite a while and are fairly robust....

Fieldy

so the end of this thread has ended with the keyboard un-sold, but a good 'mac mouse vs microsoft mice' debate
