yup, car is being collected on friday, aiming for sat to be the biggest day, leaving sunday and monday for re connecting of wiring, fuel and exhaust..

Gotta work this weekend because of a really important audit next week, so I plan to go into the office early, then help with engine swap & return to the office in the evening.
I want to help but don't want to be standing around waiting for peeps to turn up

I know - they've all been too busy.

Here's the update so far

By 10:30nit was all looking good. Most of the engine was off and were getting ready to remove the engine.
At this point Phil & I had to go and get various bits for the car (Fluids, oil filter) and food for the troops.

When we got back at 12:30ish they had hit a problem as the engine didn't seem to want to come out with the trans.
After much swearing and hitting the thing it finally came out with the torque coverter still on 2 hours later, but the trans was still in the car.

Last couple of hours have been swapping over bits between the 2 engines.
Currently planning to get the rest of the trans out so it can all go back in, in one lump.

Trouble is the torque converter doesn't want to come off the old engine. I think 2 of the nuts have come off, but the others are putting up a fight. Phil & Shifty are currently at Halfrauds trying to get something to remove them

So far Phil has had Dean, Ian, Martyn, Titsy, Chris and Shifty all working on the swap
