Hurrah !

Finally got some time back in the garage over the weekend inbetween other stuff.

Obviously I've pushed the proposed LAN event back two weeks to give me some elbow-room but things are still going to be a real push to get done.

Saturday evening I managed to do the second - and last - lot of cutting in . . . another 2-and-a-half hours of fun - yay !

Sunday I rollered the walls twice with the choosen colour - pimpin' purple.

I also managed to finish fixing the speakers to the ceiling and then myself and Ian started tackling the new low-profile tube-lights.

Progress was O.K - we managed to get 2 out of 7 up . . . but that said that was 2 out of the harder 4 . . . the 3 others should be much easier.

Not bad . . . but, alas, I now have to break-off once again and start tearing out my parents bathroom as they've decided it's not ideal and won't be useable once my Dad gets out of hospital in a few weeks' time . . . . that'll be my third new bathroom I've fitted in two years.

It's gonna be close.

ahh it will be fine - we done more work in shorter time before now lol!

those new tubes do look and give so much more light

Garage definately looks uber now!!

Roadkill

Just sent an enquiry off regarding some garage floor paint . . . .

I was trying to open the "enlarged" view on eBay to try and read the paint manufacturers so I can google their paint chart . . . alas this stupid Kaspersky infected P.C will not open any links or pop-up windows !!!

Deans had Kaspersky installed on his work machine and its crap..stopping him doing just about anything.....

F Body

I was going to ask what Kaspersky is, but Google came to the rescue

Kaspersky Lab UK :

: Antivirus software Kaspersky Lab UK provides the leading antivirus and spyware software in the internet security marketplace.

May be not that leading

The P.C here at work is getting slower by the day, BTW . . . . .

Anyway - Update.

Still no pictures - yeah, I know, but I've been busy . . .

All the lights are in and finished, now (thanks, Ian).

Most of the recent work has been the rear/side door and frame (my Dad has been treating that during the day while I've been doing their bathroom by night ).

That said the door should see its last coat today - as will the frame - meaning the door will be ready for re-hanging Wednesday (whether that actually happens then or not's a different story . . . )

On top of that I've (just this morning -> 6.30am starts 4 teh win !!!111 ) finished making the window framing . . . it's been sanded and knotted and hopefully will see it's first undercoat today, also.

Also, also, I fitted the P.C speaker sub to the wall last night, too.

Although I need a male-female speaker jack extension cable to wire it up.

Pics to follow.
