Well to say im wound up, angry and livid this morning would just about cover it.....

went to take vicky to work this morning in the truck...and found that someone has decided to majorly vandalise it overnight....

i have got:
2 flat tyres (kerb side) - unsure if they let down or knifed.
front fog lights removed (these were bolted on FFS!)
Eggs, vomit, used condoms and other "stuff" thrown all down the side of the truck.

This is in additon to the mirror glass being taken off last week and the aerial bent as well....

Police are coming round later, although i doubt they be able to do much.....

Am soo fecked off right now......

arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

HardRockCamaro

Clearly the same people who did stuff last week so something needs to be done...

You should legally be allowed to shoot people.

Roadkill

I'm guessing it was parked down the end of the road ?

I'd never trust a vehicle left out of my line of sight . . . . Unfortunately, because it's different, It seems that chav-scum think that's all the more reason to f*ck with it.

Not even had this problem before....as you say obviously cos it different....

Shifty

losers have obviously got nothing better to do with their time than ruin things for others, who have worked "hard" for what they've got.

Makes me sick,

Sorry to hear about this dude, I recall the feeling well, when I discovered the two tyres cut on the MR2 that time, was gutted. They weren't cheap either from memory.

Keep us up to date with what happens.

Trouble is, it was also targeted when it was parked opposite the house as well. Doesn't seem to be safe anywhere in our street now

Someone bring me my gun

On the other side of our road it's on street parking only and if they park outside the wrong house they vandalise each others cars
Mirrors are kicked off, panels keyed, wiper blades snapped off and in one case paint stripper used
Comes under the heading :

" You can -uck my wife but you'd better not park in "my" space ! "

FUBAR

thats ridiculous

the little scrotes need shooting, as if the snow hasn't provided enough entertainment for everyone over the last week they have to resort to this!!

Is it not possible, temporarily anyway, to park the Camaro on the garden and the van on the drive - or vice-versa ?

Maybe a bit safer ?

FUBAR

Just park the Alfa down the end of the road... everyone will leave it alone as they'll assume its broken anyway so its not worth it

Sorry Phil, that was irresistable

Hmm would be safer, but not really practicle though, as it will churn up the front garden and seeing as we rent - it could cause us hassle when we try and get deposit back...and it be a bugger to sort out the ruts etc later...

I *hate* people who feel they own the bit of street parking outside their house.  Check your deeds!  And don't be daft enough to damage my car if it's parked outside your house, remember, I know where you live!

EDGE

my dad was alway most miffed when someone parked outside our house.  He would never do/say anything approach anyone or even DREAM of damaging a car, but he would wait until they left and put his car in the gap.  Most people down that road were very good when it came to parking cars.

at my new place parking is a bit tighter, but people do seem to have 'their' spaces.

I guess we're lucky as I park on the drive and gemma's corsa goes in front of it so we're never hard up for a space.  Althoguh when I had the chavscort too that would go wherever it landed, althoguh I was always thoughtful.  If there were 2 spaces free, and one was the usual space of the girl accross the road, I'd park in the other one, even if it was 10m further away...

doesn't hurt to be considerate...

HardRockCamaro

What I hate is the attitude people come out with, not only with what they say but the look on their face when they say it.  As they don't own the street if they want a favour from you there is a way to ask.

"Excuse me!!!  You can't park there!"

(side note, NEVER tell me I can't do something)

"Oh...  Why not?"

"I like my son to park there when he visits."

"He could park in front of me or maybe on your drive?"  (long fronted house with plenty of street parking and mahoosive driveway)

"He'd have to walk the extra, why should he?  Why don't you park down the street?!"

"Why should I?"

"Well...  it's not your house is it?!"

"Well it's not your flippin street though is it?!"

Amey

It has always been a bit difficult with parking, as we do have 3 cars.
Which is why we also try and be considerate when parking the truck. It normally lives across the road, parked in the middle of the section there, so you can still fit a car either side.
Or down the end of the road, which is kind of a u shape, so there is is not blocking anyone.

The Maro lives on the drive and the Alpha gets parked in front of the house on the kerb.

Ian was supposed to be in Birmingham today, but it was cancelled yesterday evening. Otherwise I would have found that when going to work and have no other way of getting in
(i would have hurt myself if I tried to walk on the ice, my balance is not brillant at the best of times )

Sounds like the knife carry youth of today

You'll can't afford to confront them, because the knife might be going into you

Roadkill

After being fairly lucky (only got my cars damaged three times - busted off wing mirrors, scratched bonnet and dented wing) while living in a flat for 5 years and having shared parking in a dodgy estate, my first act after moving into Castle Roadkill (on a much better estate) was to tear-up the front garden to make way for a further 2 parking spaces.

In total I have three spaces and the garage (that IS used for car storage).

In all the while I've never had a car touched there (except the chav'scort that was parked around the corner out of sight)

I think it certainly makes the little scroats think twice if they actually stand a chance of being seen - or caught . . . cowardly f*ckers.

You'd think so - all the times in been vandalised it been under street lights, and in the open .... obviously cos this street a 'quite' one - they don't have to worry about getting caught in the act...fecks me off at the mo.

Done some flyers to pop into peopls doors asking if they seen anything - we can but hope.......and if nothing else, might mean people look out for more dodgy things........again we can hope...
