the front indicator bulb on a 4th Gen Camaro.  If so can I ask where you got the bulb from?  I have replaced my front indicators to some nice new clear lenses but obviously now need amber bulbs.  They aren't the normal bayonet fittings and are called "wedged " fittings.

Thank you

Try http://www.carbulbs.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.carbulbs.com - from the people who brought you wiperblades.com, but for bulbs. If they don't have it they may be able to help you identify it.

Hundreds of them on ebay, of all different colours.

I bought some white ones to go behind the stock lenses, only to find they are too white and don't look right

Tip for any one thinking of doing similar - buy the bulb colour that matches the lense colour.

Back to wedge fittings, I'm not sure, but I think there are 2 sizes.  Once you've worked out which ones you need (check the owners or maintenance manual), you will find it a lot easier to find.

Also bear in mind that there are difference identifying codes for the same bulbs, which is why it's best to find out from the manual.

I think I have found some amber bulbs on ebay.co.uk and also some chrome amber ones on ebay.com     Just trying to decide which ones to go for

If they're the same as the 3rd gen side marker bulbs they are the exact same bulbs as used in the interior lights like the dash illumination.

Ah page 41 of 1,187 electrical pages

Yes it's a wedge fitting but the description isn't brilliant

These look way too small - are these for the side repeater lights?

I did a very quick search - and I don't think they are the same as the 3rd gens ones are bayonet fittings - but thanks
