My Credit card blocked the transaction but instead of it showing as a failed attempt BECAUSE of the card, their site just kept asking to firstly check the address, then the phone number, then the zip then . . .

Instead of just saying there was a card issue !

Long story short the transaction went through FIVE times but none were claimed by Rock Auto - however ALL are showing as pending on my account !

ah yeah, my card had that issue at summit once, they tried it 2 or 3 times and it kept getting declined as the bank thought that a several thousand pound transaction, at 3am, overseas, with no card holder present was a bit odd... fair enough, they stopped the transaction going though. I then called the bank the next morning and they said that summit had tried all night to get the order thoguh (summit confirmed this, its just the way the systems work there) and it had put a 48 hour block on the card....

i now call the bank in advance, tell them what im doing and they can flag the account..

So when you order from summit, how long do you expect it'll take to get the stuff... i could be after a few bits....

I gave the the name of Jegs, Summit, Spohn and Rock Auto and they said they could not take "info like that in advance" !

Thankfully the Spohn order went through first time and the Jegs one took just one call to the credit card company . . . . Rock Auto are being more difficult, though.
