Motorama

The old girl hadnt moved for nearly 5 years.

A bit of petrol down the carb and a fresh battery and she came back to life and moved under her own power (with flames shooting out the top of the carb)

She was in great shape when she was parked 5 years ago. 5 winters have been cruel to her paint and chrome. Still very solid underneath.

A few hours later, a bottle and a half of T-Cut and a bit of tweaking and we were cruising around in her. Drives really well, runs nice too as the motor and trans have been rebuilt.

A good car for some one to do up, only needs cosmetics really as she is super solid and mechanically everything was rebuilt before she was parked.

looks very nice - is this a keeper or a seller for you then?

You make it look so easy Andy

Why was it left for 5 years ?

FUBAR

The 'chrome bullets' (for lack of a proper name) on the front of that are HUGE!!!  (Pic 2)

Will probably be sold towards the end of the summer. I want to go through the brakes and get her MOT'd first, then have a little fun in her.

The engine had a knock and got rebuilt in year one then the guy kinda lost interest and just left it sitting. Shame really as she looks nice in this pic taken 2003

HardRockCamaro

Lovely car...

There's just something about Cadillacs, no matter what era they all have their own character.  You cant beat the older stuff though, 30's-70's.

I want one of these:

It is coming off this week. Going on the back of one of Mikes Caddies as he's doing up a fifties style speedboat and adding some Cadillac touches.

Was hoping to have the 55 at Billing but we didnt have time to get the MOT done. may take it to ROG though

Rescued another old girl from a barn this week!

A 57 Cadillac Eldorado Seville Coupe, one of only 2100 made. Still has it's original dual Carter carb setup too.

Sounds nice, and I bet it won't be cheap either.

I'd give my right nut to have some of the contacts you have, matey.

That's one very, very rare motor.

I'd be very surprised if that's still in the country in a couple of months those Swedes'll snap her up !!
