Well done AACI Peeps it was a good show
Liked the new show ground format and it seemed popular with the punters

Cool Dinner at the bottom end of the show field :

Met up with loads of old friends and had a natter

Here's my pictures in no particular order ( selfishly I just snapped vehicles I liked )

Did I mention yellow is my favourite colour

My favourite true 4th Gen colour :

Nice Ass

It's an Autosol thing

"THE" F Body :

It's quite clean underneath

I'm liking the Mercury grills a lot

Hudson Lead Sled

Damn Pick Up followed me all the way up the M1, knew I should have bought it

Interesting to see old & new side by side

My 1st 5th Gen Camaro being sold by American Car Imports the company I bought my Camaro from. £37k for a high spec V6

Told you a V8 was gonna be over £40K here

Now some of the 5th Gen reviews say the interior is really poor, OK it's not Audi quality but I liked it

Still the greatest looking most pointless vehicle Chevy ever made :

Rocky

Wheres mine? Was a good show though i should have got there a bit earlier.

That is shameless price gouging.

A V8 over here is about $32k, landed here with everything paid (£27k) and any conversion work it should be about £30k imho.

I hope they don't even sell one the greedy b*******.

Yep supply & demand

The new IVA test ( replaces the old SVA test ) seems to be causing all the importers some major headaches

You can't add any extra lighting, so yellow HID LED's seem to be the only way to go to get red America indicators flashing yellow

I think what he means was having the traders facing *inwards*, rather than down both sides of the right hand road. It makes a lot more sense to me, and as has been said better footfall for the traders, cause people were walking around the whole thing.

Ace show. Sorry i couldnt manage the whole weekend.

I dont know what it is with Billing

I love the Summer Nats, always have, always try and go for the weekend. Had to camp this year as the hotels were silly money thanks to the Grand Prix. There always seems to be so many scuzzy people about that have no interest in the car, and all the nastiest kids you ever see.

We had to stop 3 little herberts trying to kill some baby swans on Saturday night, took a load of abuse from them and their parents. We then didnt get much kip as we were worried they might damage our cars.

As far as this years show goes i thought Sunday was good. It had a very nice chilled atmosphere. I thought numbers seemed down though, the main took longer than usual to get full and the side fields were pretty empty.

As for the journey home, dont even go there

Everybody did seem very laid back, may something to do with all the AACI Peeps not having to watch their back anymore

That's why we left just after 14:00pm and sailed straight through

I see this being the beginning of the rebuilding of the AACI into one of the best Yanks car clubs

We left at 8 pm! We didnt light our BBQ till 5. It was the best bit of the day watching all the cars roll out

I normally go across country to the A5, then down to Dunstable, cut across to Tring, A41 to Berkhampstead, then were only 5 mins from home, and it takes just over an hour but the car was so over loaded because we'd camped i thought we might be better going down the M1 at a constant speed rather than killing the trans and brakes uphill and down dale. Was stop/start from J15 to J13 and then about 45mph all the way to J8. Took us best part of 2 hours to get home
