declaired dead before i even got to pick it up..

reason for not starting is a blown head gasket, would cost 5- £600 to fix, so its been declaired dead, and i'm having my money back..

gutted.

damn man thats harsh news but as art says at least it was before you got it, you'd be gutted if it was now & you'd have got it on saturday!

Had me worried for a minute there !
It's almost exactly the same as ours was , just a slightly diffent window design.
The 3.9 V6 has one major fault , in that it is only a three speed auto.
This means that it is reving it's nuts off at 40/45 mph waiting to change up to third gear.
It also means that you get no more than 18 mpg when cruising , not forgetting all the things that fall off.
Learnt the lesson years ago , if you buy a dud , sell it ASAP cos it'll just cost you a packet later on !

yeah, i'm 50/50 as to what i'm doing right now, i'm either gonna keep stashing money asside and look early next year, or just spend the money on improving the camaro and stay with a tent.

dave did however offer me a short wheelbase G20 panel van, no interior, just a van.. same money, but not really what i want..

(305 / 3 speed auto)
