The Plough in Wavendon

Defiantely going to make it my mission to eat there in the new year.

That said, I think we're gonna try out The Living Room - simply because it's fairly cheap (and I got my cheque late so won't get paid, now, until monday) and - as I think myself and Sammy need to let our hair down a bit don't want to fork out too much on taxis, either.

Regarding letting said hair down . . . can anyone suggest any (half-reasonable) bars nearby ?

I know there's All Bar One and Secklow 100 near The Hub but the Hub itself is a mystery to me.

Thats the only 2 with real beer afaik.

The Living Room is the best bar in the area imho but as I say its not cheap and the beer is JS Extra Spunk.

Ha Ha Bar and grill is ok, went on a date there a few weeks ago with a very nice French girl...but think it only had continental beer (the good ones) and guiness.

The food was ok, cheapish and look fancy on the plate but that was about it.
Service was a bit pants. but we did get a free desert
I think you'll be happy enough with The Living Room, good sized plates of food.  And thats where all the 'posh' totty in MK end up on a night out

Well we went to the "Living Room" in the end . . . not bad.  I liked the decor, the food was fairly reasonable and the prices also pretty good.
Downside was that it was near Chrimbo so we had twelve screaming Hippos on the table next to us which, although didn't ruin it, got mildly amusing / irritating at times.

I'd go back . . . but after Chrimbo's over and done with.

The major bummer of the evening is that I got a call from my Mum 10 minutes before the taxi arrived . . . the power had tripped out and she'd had a fall so I ended up driving as I had to rush around there, first.

Basically it was restaurant then home by 10pm as I couldn't drink anymore . . .

Hey-Ho.
