Nice

Are you going to re-tyre them before putting them on?

philoldsmobile

not just yet, there is about 3mm on them, and I dont do many miles, but i will fit a set of khumos before the MOT in april. rather skint now

Fieldy

Yep, they're MUCH nicer
good buy buddy

philoldsmobile

will post better pics when they are clean.

real nice guy, in a SUPER swanky area. V. large house, power gates et al.

Andy

Nice,

Should drop that a bit

ummmm... whats the word???? NO!!!!

with the novitec front end, its already a bit close for comfort on speed bumps..  Had to reverse into the guys driveway because I bottomed out going forwards.

its not too low, but any lower would be.. would look good though

Fieldy

good improvement for the £'s

Andy

Haha, would look good, but totally impractical by the sounds of it.

Has a nice stance like that though. What grounds out, the engine, or an air dam of some sort?

philoldsmobile

the front chin spoiler catches first. it was a git to get hold of, and rather expensive, so it does get treated with kid gloves a bit! its not so much the height, more the very long overhang at the front

Looks good, better than the originals for sure.
It's the time that we kill that keeps us alive...

philoldsmobile

clean pic!  the original wheels were VERY bad, very extensive corrosion, and one a little buckled.

poor mobile phone pic (5mp my arse, its still a tiny lens) but it looks quite pimp now.. next step a Raggazon exhaust, and maybe a very light window tint. further down the road an autodelta cold air intake, Q2 limited slip diff and remap. gawd, modifying wop cars is bloody expensive!!! would love the autodelta 3.7 supercharged engine, but its 16 grand!

Incursus

Andy

That looks sweet!

When you say cold air intake, you don't mean one of those red funnel things that boy racers like to stick in their lower grills do you?

HardRockCamaro

Looks very nice Phil, classy.

EDGE

it does look lovely with those wheels, I much prefer them... it kinda looks more 'special'

its a shame you cant lower it, i know exactly how inconvenient a lowered car can be... trust me.... and there's nothing worse than lowering a car then wishing you hadn't.....

have you thought about some kind of air-ride

ianjpage

HardRockCamaro

Meh!

I had a 50mm drop on the Focus and an uber low bodykit.

Having said that, the arch gap doesn't look bad at all in the photos so I probably wouldn't bother, or would only get the minimum of drops.
