Not got any photos as yet - it was snowing - but I've finally had the time to sort out a pickup and been out today and bought myself a 2003 Ford F150 Harley Davidson 100th Anniversary Special Edition in black with a full option list.

Incredibly clean with only a couple of small marks which are being attended to along with the fitting of a Ford genuine parts tow bar chassis fitment instead of the standard in-step fitting.

The previous owner had also fitted a DVD and playstation with built in headrest screens so I need a chaffeur

Picking it up next week so I'll take some piccies then

If anyone wants a two year old A6 in very good nick?........

Andy

Sweet!

Sounds a beast! Is that the one with the supercharger?

Big Mouse

yep 340 ponies and 425 torques! Its my first pickup and I'm as happy as a dog with two dicks

The silver and black looks pants imho and alters the shape of the vehicle, the black is so much better

The pickup offers the versatility I need and the price was so good I couldn't turn it down.

Trouble is they drive like crap

My mate has a 59 reg black Animal whatever pickup, it has all the toys and he pays next to nothing company car tax, but the ride & noise levels are dreadful

But if I had the money I'd have a Yank one for taking the crap to the tip etc

They are what they are; a workhorse - I don't think its unreasonable to expect a bit of noise or for it not to drive like a car. The jap units are horrid, I took out the new top of the range toyota pick up a couple of weeks ago and it drove like a building site dumper.

I like to think of it as 'agricultarul'.... Yes, it doesn't drive like a car, because it isn't a car, but in a car can you put 2 weeks of luggage, 2 dogs and me in the boot on a four hour journey, allowing me to sleep the whole way while my wife drives..... No....

Yes, I know, not the best idea I have ever had.... But what a sleep!!

absolutely - the scary thing is they aren't really much more economical either. the japs seem to do most machines well, but for some reason cant seem to crack pickups.

HardRockCamaro

Toyota have cracked big pickups in the USA.

The Tundras are cracking in half due to rust!

philoldsmobile

weren't the camshafts on tundras cracking in half too?

That was last year

Toyota's 8th recall this year ( last Friday ) was for cracking drive shafts

The 9th this morning was for 2010 Camry's with defective power steering

That's lovely.....

Needs more dirt though.... Proper pick-ups don't shine.
