Looking at pricing for an 80s/90s day-van - where would be a good place to look?

Something similar to this would be good:

Not for me, but I will use it if we get one
1968 VW T2 Bay Bus (currently being restored and upgraded)
1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ (modern classic daily driver)

It's from this thread on VZi which is THE VW forum:
http://www.volkszone.co.uk/VZi/showthread.php?t=622279\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">http://www.volkszone.co.uk/VZi/showthread.php?t=622279

The guy is explaining that he has turned to the 'darkside' and bought a yank and everyone is saying how much they think it is uber.

I just cant agree with this more. the G20 is vastly superior in absolutely every way.

and dont even bother looking at diesel.

Well it didn't have to be Ford, just something like the Econoline. G20 is also on the maby list..

I totally agree, Especially the early-mid 80s G20 Panel Vans, with optional rear Captains Chairs in Grey leather, Rear Gun locker (Option Code AMO), Spoiler & Red accent package (Option Code A-TM) & Intimidating but Aviatophobic milk drinking Chaffeur... (Option Code MrT)

It's the time that we kill that keeps us alive...

I think either would be great, always loved yank day-vans.

What do you guys think the one in the VZi thread would have cost?

the a team van was a G15 btw ( still rocks though)

Andy

I had the misfortune of seeing fifth gear put an A-team van replica up againt (iirc) a new VW Transporter Sportline. Pretty obvious which one won. I was convinced the A-team van was petrol, this replica was diesel.
